 Monica Schwartz, soprano


Born in Romania, is a graduate of the "Academy of Music and Dance in Jerusalem", "Faculty of Performing Arts".


Monica  is a member of Ensemble PHOENIX since 2021, and performs often as soloist with different orchestrals such as the Jerusalem Symphony Orchestra, the  Jerusalem Baroque Orchestra,  the Beer Sheva Israel Sinfonietta Orchestra,  the Ramat Gan Symphony Orchestra,  the Netanya Kibbutz Chamber Orchestra etc.

In addition, is regularly invited to perform at the official event of Romania's National Day organized by the Romanian Embassy in Israel (2015-2019, 2022).

Monica is a member of the Lyric Opera Studio, where her repertoire includes, among others, the roles of Queen of the Night from the opera Magic Flute (W. A Mozart), Despina from Così fan tutte (W. A Mozart), Rosina from The Barber of Seville  (G. Rossini), Lischen from the Cafe Cantata (J. S Bach), and Morgana from the opera Alcina (G. F Handel) .
