For the past 25 years Gili Rinot has specialized in Historically Informed Performance. Playing on chalumeaux, baroque, classical and romantic clarinets, basset horns and basset clarinet, she has performed throughout Europe, USA, Israel and South America. Her orchestra experience includes concerts and recordings with orchestras such as: Das Kleine Konzert, Concerto Köln, Das Neue Orchester, Kölner Akademie, l'Arte del Mondo, Hannoversche Hofkapelle, Capella Weilburgensis, Freiburger Barockorchester, La Stagione Frankfurt, Händelfestspielorchester, Halle Philharmonic, Gürzenich-Orchester, Wiener Akademie, L'Orfeo Barockorchester, Nederlandse Bachvereniging, Europa Galante, Norsk Barokkorkester, La Grande Ecurie et la Chambre du Roy, and the Israel Mozart Orchestra. 


In high demand as a chamber musician, her affiliations include Trio Eroica, the only ensemble to win both the First Prize with Distinction and the Belgian Radio 3 Special Prize at the Brugge Musica Antiqua Competition. She has also performed with Ensemble Schönbrunn, Palmira Basset Horn Trio, Harmonie Wind Quintet, Ottetto Amsterdam, the Swiss Consort, L'Harmonie Bohémienne (CD Mozart Divertimenti for basset horns) and Ensemble Zefiro (CD Gran Partita).

Hailed as 'an exceptional player' by “The Early Music Review“ and praised for her 'unerring sense of style' by “Concerto”, Gili Rinot has recorded the Mozart Clarinet Concerto for Profil/Naxos and her rendition of the chalumeau concertos by Fasch and Graupner with the Accademia Daniel can be heard on the CPO and HR labels. She has taken part in numerous Radio broadcasts and CD recordings with repertoire spanning from Telemann to Mahler, including many world premiere recordings.

In Israel, Gili is part of Ensemble PHOENIX, performing on the chalumeaux and on the classical clarinet.
