Liat Lidor Soprano
Liat Lidor was born in Israel in 1989. She studied music at the Buchmann-Mehta School of Music of the Tel Aviv University.
Her repertoire includes the soprano solo in Orff 's "Carmina Burana" conducted by Yoav Talmi with the Israel chamber Orchestra and with the Buchman-Mehta Orchestra conducted by Ronen Borshevsky; Adele of Johan Strauss' "Die Fledermaus", Najade of Richard Strauss'"Ariadne auf Naxos" conducted by Yi-an Xu. She also sang the soprano solo from Haydn's Missa Brevis with the Orchestra of the Tel Aviv Buchmann- Mehta Music Academy conducted by Netta Spigel.
Liat joined Ensemble PHOENIX for the first time in 2013, when she participated in the Baroque opera "La Purpura de la Rosa" conducted by Myrna Herzog, performing as Selfa and as first nymph.
She is a recipient of the Israel-America Cultural Foundation scholarships for the year 2012-2015.
